Internship Opportunities

New Commons is a think and do tank that wants life long learners who love to execute what they have learned in an action-research inquiry. We are shifting the internship as getting “real word” experience to an engagement that helps the committed learner find the work they love.

Every semester we typically have two to three internships available for interested students who want to get in engaged with our work and develop a portfolio.  These internships are 12-week temporary assignments for anyone up to the challenge.
Interns that have succeeded in our environment are:

  • Self-starters

  • Able to be deadline driven
  • Bring solutions
  • Enthusiastic
  • Love the internet
  • Open to learning
  • Hard working: you are not hung up on the 9-to-5 think or Spring Break.

The three internships:

  • Client & Event Coordination - still open
  • New Media Internship - Joint internship still open
  • Web/ Marketing - still open
