Welcome to FAX – Fusion Arts Exchange Program at RISD! We want your experience to be engaging and full of learning. To that end, a continuous program evaluation will be conducted by Robert Leaver of New Commons to help improve the program.
The FAX evaluation is completed at three time periods: pre FAX, during FAX, and post FAX. Common evaluation themes are woven through the three phases. The evaluation will combine student and faculty comments as well as evaluator analysis. Your participation in the evaluation will all be done online. You will not be quoted by name, but the evaluation results that are made public will use quotes without names.
You will be briefed more fully by Robert Leaver about the role of the program evaluation on the morning of July 11th. You will be asked to complete a pre-program evaluation at this time.
On July 18th and 27th you will be asked to complete the ongoing program evaluation survey and on August 11th the post program evaluation survey.
In addition, Robert Leaver will observe and comment at two occasions for public reflection in the program: July 27th mid-term feedback” and August 2nd for the “group crits/panels of guests.” Finally, Robert will facilitate the workshop on "You, Digital Media and the Next Economy" workshop on August 3, 2007, which has an evaluation component in it.
