Timeline: 1995 to 2005 This national center promotes community-based substance abuse treatment services for individuals and families who need them through working with states and community-based groups to improve and expand existing substance abuse treatment services. Various projects over the years on strategic planning, creating a network organization, team building, and the formation of the national treatment network of providers and resources. |

New Commons has provided ongoing strategic planning (3 plans); network structure to respond to cities, towns, and for-profit developers; coaching; and professional development. Current major focus is sustainable development sustainable homes. |

Providence Plan Neighborhood Housing and Providence Neighborhood Corp Timeline: 1996 to 2001 This was a quasi-public agency of the city of Providence that developed affordable housing: plan to produce more housing and redesign of the agency. |
Timeline: 1995 to 2000; 2010 PHA is the agency responsible for the public housing program in Providence and other federal, state, and local programs for residents. New Commons delivered workshops and trainings for strategic and implementation plans and increasing departmental efficiencies. |
